भ्रूण लिंग परीक्षण में लिप्त आरोपी चिकित्सक एवं दलाल गिरफ्तार

जयपुर (AJMER MUSKAN)। राज्य पीसीपीएनडीटी प्रकोष्ठ ने पीसीपीएनडीटी अधिनियम के तहत शुक्रवार को जनता कालोनी, आदर्श नगर स्थित सुपीरियर डायनोस्टिक सेंटर पर डिकॉय कार्यवाही करते हुये अवैध भ्रूण लिंग परीक्षण करते हुये पाये जाने पर आरोपी चिकित्सक डॉ. नवीन शर्मा एवं दलाल पवन जैन को गिरफ्तार किया। 

राज्य समुचित प्राधिकारी पीसीपीएनडीटी के अध्यक्ष एवं मिशन निदेशक एनएचएम नरेश कुमार ठकराल ने बताया कि मुखबिर के माध्यम से सूचना मिली कि जयपुर के जनता कॉलोनी, आदर्श नगर स्थित सुपीरियर डायनोस्टिक सेंटर पर अवैध भ्रूण लिंग परीक्षण का कार्य किया जा रहा है। सूचना के पुष्टिकरण के बाद डिकॉय दल गठित किया गया। दल ने डिकॉय गर्भवती महिला को सहयोगी के साथ उक्त सुपीरियर डायनोस्टिक सेंटर पर भेजा।

ठकराल ने बताया कि चिकित्सक नवीन शर्मा ने दलाल पवन जैन के मार्फत डिकॉय गर्भवती महिला से भ्रूण लिंग परीक्षण के नाम पर 35000 मांगे। इसके बाद गर्भवती महिला के साथ गयी सहयोगी ने चिकित्सक को 35 हजार की राशि दी। इस पर चिकित्सक द्वारा डिकॉय गर्भवती महिला की सोनोग्राफी कर भ्रूण लिंग के बारे में जानकारी दी। पीबीआई थाने की टीम ने भ्रूण लिंग परीक्षण करते चिकित्सक एवं दलाल को मौके पर ही गिरफ्तार किया।

परियोजना निदेशक पीसीपीएनडीटी एवं अतिरिक्त पुलिस अधीक्षक शालिनी सक्सेना ने बताया कि कोई भी व्यक्ति भ्रूण लिंग परीक्षण से संबंधित सूचना विभाग के टोल फ्री नं. 104/108 या वाट्सएप नं. 9799997795 पर दर्ज करा सकता है। 

Dr Naveen Sharma and middleman Pawan Jain arrested for sex determination

Jaipur। State PCPNDT Cell under PCPNDT Act on Friday arrested Dr Naveen Sharma resident of Jaipur and middleman Pawan Jain resident of Sarsia (Bhilwara) at Superior Diagnostic Centre, Adarsh Nagar in Jaipur for conducting sex determination in a decoy operation. The sonography machine used in this act and sonography records have been seized.

PCPNDT State Appropriate Officer and National Health Mission Director Shri Naresh Thakral said that information from an informer was received that sex determination was being done at Superior Diagnostic Centre at Adarsh Nagar, Janta Colony in Jaipur. After confirming the information, a decoy team was formed. The team sent a decoy pregnant woman with an assistant to Superior Diagnostic Centre.

Shri Thakral said that Dr Naveen Sharma through middleman Pawan Jain demanded Rs 35,000 from the pregnant woman for sex determination. Later the assistant who had gone with the pregnant woman gave Rs 35,000 to the doctor. Dr Sharma informed the pregnant woman about the sex of the foetus after the sonography. On getting the signal, the PBI police station team arrested Dr Sharma and Jain on the spot and recovered the amount from both. The team also seized the sonography manchine used to conduct sex determination and the record found on the spot. The investigation is on.
